A Love Affair with Striped Pant
I've always been a girl who is always super comfortable in jeans. Slim, skinny or relaxed, I can spend days (and nights) altogether, wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Ever since I started considering blogging, I was on the lookout for clothes that are different and make me get out of my comfort zone. Soon enough, I came across a black and white striped pant while browsing through one of my favorite e-commerce websites, Ajio. Without further ado, I bought the pant. Now the only question was on how to style it. I wanted to do justice to the elegant pant.
The pant is loose and comfortable, but tight enough that it doesn't look sloppy. Being black and white in colour, it can be paired up with a number of colours - red, orange, green, yellow, white, gray black etc. I wanted a darker look so I went with an artichoke green shirt. Now, a simple shirt and pant looked too formal. To get around this, I unbuttoned the bottom of my shirt and tied it up. I put on my sunglasses and voila! I found myself chic yet casual look.
In order to accentuate the look further, I donned a golden neck-piece that I had picked up from a flea market. The addition of a simple necklace brought a whole new level of sophistication to the look. All in all, a simple striped pant can help you get a stylish and elegant look without having to put in extra efforts.
For a work-wear outfit, wear a tucked-in shirt with the striped pant. The colours white, salmon, light blue and gray are recommended. You can either keep the heels or wear brogues for added comfort.
If you want to wear this pant to a party, just replace the tie-up top with a red off-shoulder crop top. Keep the black heels on or spice it up by wearing red heels. A sling bag should complete the look.
To turn this into a fun look, wear a graphic crop top with your black and white striped pant. A yellow or orange top should do the trick. Pair it with sneakers and a bright sling bag.
